LITURGICAL MINISTRIES
Liturgy Committee Plans, implements, and evaluates parish prayer and worship. Develop celebration and meaningful liturgical and para-liturgical services (services other than Masses) for the parish. Membership may include representation from among Lectors, Lay Eucharistic Ministers, Music Ministry and other members-at-large that express an interest. Contact Person: Sandy Mattson 693-6545
Altar Servers Assist in the celebration of Sunday and Holy Day liturgies. Training sessions are provided. Ages nine (9) and older are encouraged to participate. Contact Person: Steve Hansford 684-9554

Ecumenical Representatives Fosters unity and cooperation between Protestant and Catholic Churches. Attends the LARCUM (Lutheran, Anglican, Roman Catholic and United Methodist) Conference each year and provides the ecumenical prayer each week. Contact Persons: Bob and JoAnn Gallagher 693-6491
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist Assists in the distribution of the Eucharist at weekend and weekday liturgies. Must be an adult, confirmed Catholic at least 16 years old and in good standing in the Roman Catholic Church. Must participate in a training session. Requires new commissioning each year. Lectors Read scriptural passages to congregation as part of the Liturgy of the Word. Must participate in a training session. Requires new commissioning each year. Contact Person: Tom Bernard 695-2692
Mass Coordinator/Sacristan Ensure that the altar is ready for the celebration of Eucharist to include preparation of vessels, sacramentary and lectionary. Additionally, the Mass coordinator launders altar cloths, purificators, has priest’s vestments dry cleaned and oversees the order of the sacristy.

Music Instrumentalist – participate in the liturgy by playing a musical instrument in which you have been trained; e.g. trumpet, violin, guitar or flute. Must audition Choir – Sing at one of the weekend liturgies each week and participate in special music programs during the Christmas and Easter seasons. Usher Greet people enter the sanctuary to attend Mass, assist in seating, help with offertory collection, and ensure a smooth flow to and from Eucharistic stations. Additionally, ushers register new parishioners after Mass and assist in any emergency situation. Contact Person: Tom Fauber 725-1581 |
