 Cursillo

The Cursillo is an Action Movement for Laypersons within the Catholic Church.  In essence it is the living out, in one’s day-to-day life, the basic values of Jesus Christ.  The movement is an instrument of renewal in the daily life of each     member, those people they meet, and in the church.

Hispanic Ministry

Outreach mission to all persons of Hispanic culture in an effort to provide worship, education and social ministries as needed or desired.  Celebrate the Feast of Guadalupe in December.

Justice and Peace

            Committee – assesses and responds to the needs of the deprived, disabled, neglected and oppressed in the parish, in the community and the world at large.  Encourages parishioners to support and be involved in efforts that promote the common good.

             Food Pantry – Help organize and maintain the parish food pantry. Sort food  collections and Coordinates the distribution of food.

             Holiday Food Baskets – Participate in organizing the collection and assembly of  Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for families in need.

             Giving Tree – Bring joy to children in need of assistance during the Christmas season. Collect names of children needing gifts, make ornaments, put up giving tree, collect and sort the gifts.  Work with this ministry during November –  December.

             Soup With Love – Set up telephone chain and recruit volunteers for cooks, servers, kitchen help and table set up.  Soup is served to the community each Friday during Lent.

Knights of Columbus

Join with other Catholic men in an organization devoted to the Church, charity, fraternity and patriotism.  Meetings are held the first and third Thursday of every month; Rosary at 7:00 PM in the chapel; Meeting follows at 7:30 PM at the Learning Center.

Small Christian Communities

 These groups provide Christian fellowship with open discussions of religion.  Meetings are held monthly at the convenience of each group.  Frank and open discussion of our Catholic faith.  The Communities jointly facilitate the church’s  sponsorship of the Gloucester County Relay For Life.

Theresians

An active organization of ladies dedicated to live our Catholic life by praying  daily.  Meetings are the first Friday of the Month – September to June.  Mass at  9:00 AM in church. Meeting at 9:30 AM in the Social Hall.
