Have you considered becoming Catholic? Would you be interested in exploring the possibility? Every year a group of people gather at the Church of St. Therese to participate in a process call the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). The beginning stage is called the Inquiry. This process helps participants on a journey of faith to explore the Catholic faith through prayer and presentations. A welcome reception for inquirers will be held Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 11:30 AM at the Adult Learning Center. OFFICE CLOSURE
The Parish office will be closed on Friday, May 16th, for calendar planning. If you are a chairperson for a ministry and received a calendar planning form, you are reminded to please turn your form into the office as soon as possible and no later than 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 14th.
PARISH COUNCIL NEWS
The Parish Council election was cancelled this year due to the lack of volunteers. The council extends a warm welcome to our newest members, Jim Wezensky and Tom Bernard. Congratulations.
TRANSPORTATION NEEDED
We have had a request from a couple who reside at Sanders Nursing Facility to have a ride to Mass on a weekly basis. The Mass time would probably be the 5:00 PM Saturday Mass. If you can help out on a permanent or periodic basis, please call Janet Leigh at 693-4962 or Ann in the office. We will get back to you with the details.
