Sacraments  

Baptism

Parental preparation for the baptism of infants and pre-school children is offered four times a year - March, June, September and December.  Parents wishing to baptize their children must attend one of these sessions.  The Sacrament of Baptism will be celebrated four times a year - January, April, July and October.

Confirmation

Confirmation for youth in the Richmond Diocese is a two-year preparation process beginning in the 10th grade.

Eucharist

Preparation for reception of First Communion is available to children beginning in the second grade.  Eucharist preparation requires parent education and involvement.

Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Penance is offered the first Saturday of the month at  4:00 p.m.  Preparation for the celebration of the first Sacrament of Penance is available to children beginning in the second grade and requires parent  education and involvement.

Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick

You are encouraged to receive the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick.   If you are seriously ill, anticipating surgery, or weakened by advanced age, please contact the parish office to schedule this sacrament.
